With Easy Shape Traditional Chinese, Chinese character lookup is easy, even if you are a beginner.
* You don’t have to know the characters radical.
* You don’t have to count strokes.
* You don’t have to know the character's pronunciation.
It means you spend less time looking up characters so that you have more time for learning and understanding them.
Easy Shape Traditional Chinese is a Chinese-English dictionary. Character lookup is via a 12 shape system.
(Each shape has up to 16 sub-shapes, all variations of the main shape.)
Each entry includes the Mandarin pronunciation(s), English definition, stroke count, radical (both the symbol and its number.)
Additionally, you can easily switch from pinyin to Zhuyin and even Gwoyeu Romatzyh (GR).
Character Entries also contain words and phrases (two or more characters combined) that contain the character in any position (first, last and anywhere in between).
Word Entries allow you to select any character within a word (or phrase) and see it's definition.
